By downloading or using the KAYA app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1 About KAYA

KAYA is a delivery platform that connects customers with local vendors (restaurants and shops) and independent delivery riders in Ghana. KAYA Technologies operates the platform but is not itself a food vendor or a delivery company. Vendors and riders are independent parties who use our platform to offer their services.

2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on KAYA. By registering, you confirm that:

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or endanger the safety of other users.

All customer payments are processed securely by Paystack, a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. KAYA does not store card details.

The platform also supports a KAYA Wallet feature. Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except in cases of technical error. Wallet balances have no cash-out option for customers — they can only be used for orders on the platform.

9 Intellectual Property

All content in the KAYA app — including the name, logo, design, code, and text — is owned by KAYA Technologies. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Vendors grant KAYA a non-exclusive licence to display their menu content, images, and store information within the app for the purpose of operating the platform.

10 Limitation of Liability

KAYA provides the platform "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, we are not liable for:

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For significant changes, we will notify you via the app or email.
